We are proud to say that we are located in one of the safest cities in Germany, which has world-class services, recreation, as well as an extensive public transportation system. We seek and maintain excellent working relationships with all Host Nation municipalities surrounding our installations. All of these items help enhance the wellness of our community members.USAG Stuttgart has approximately 25,000 community members. To put our population in perspective, the National League of Cities data shows that over 90% of municipal governments in the U.S. have populations under 25,000. We are a large municipality.

Like large municipalities, we are service providers. However, USAG Stuttgart is responsible for providing services that civilian municipalities are not chartered to provide such as the sustainment, restoration, and modernization of all facilities within our installation borders. Unlike most municipalities, USAG Stuttgart also funds all utilities services within our footprint.

These services range from Family and Youth programs, to Fitness centers, to housing and vehicle services, to ensuring our community's well-being, safety and shelter.
