“Bravo” fire in the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) hangar bay during
a general quarters drill. Carl Vinson and its embarked air wing, Carrier Air
Wing (CVW) 17 are in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility returning to homeport
after supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations,
strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, and theater security
