Senior Airman Roman Shirley, 22nd Civil Engineer Squadron firefighter, ignites a fire during a flashover training session, May 14, 2015, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. The exercise exposed firefighters to temperatures of more than 900 degrees Fahrenheit and black out conditions in a specialized training facility.
