African
Lion 15 is in full swing in the Kingdom of Morocco. U-S service members work
hand in hand with their Moroccan partners to maintain a strong military
relationship in the continent. Air Force Staff Sergeant Will Bracy met with
airmen who are committed to saving lives and saving equipment. Story: VO:
(00:00:02) The highly dangerous leak in this F-16…is not real. It’s part of a
simulation during exercise African Lion 15 in the Kingdom of Morocco. Assistant
Fire Chief Master Sergeant Jordan Boyd and his airmen teamed up with firefighters
from the Royal Moroccan Air Force to simulate a leak from an F-16. The
Moroccans learned new firefighting techniques, and Master Sergeant Boyd says
his airmen learned something from the Moroccans. MSgt Boyd: (00:29:09) Their
teamwork, their camaraderie, they’re very tight, um, they eat meals together, they
spend a lot of time together when they’re on duty, they’re very cohesive, and I
think we can take away from that. It’s a great time here; I enjoyed working
with the Moroccans and my fellow firefighters. VO: (00:38:20) both teams learned from each
other through working together, creating a strong bond between U-S and Moroccan
service members for the future. Air Force Sergeant Will Bracy, Ben Guerir Air
Base, Kingdom of Morocco.
