The shooting took place at about 9 p.m. ET, Charleston police said via Twitter. The gunman is still on the loose, police told theCharleston Post and Courier.
The suspect is a white male about 21-years-old, and is wearing a grey sweatshirt or hoodie and blue jeans, officials said.
