6/22/2015 - BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, California -- Beale Airmen from the 9th Civil Engineer Squadron, in assistance with CAL Fire, participated in an 800 acre prescribed burn here June 17, 2015.
The controlled burn was carried out in an effort to control base vegetation growth and renew range land in support of the cattle grazing program.
Approximately 100 people from Beale fire and emergency services, bioenvironmental flight and CAL Fire Department worked as a team to ensure a safe controlled burn.
