Coast Guard helicopter crash reported at San Francisco International Airport

The U.S. Coast Guard was conducting a routine hovering training exercise at the time of the crash landing at around 3 p.m. Monday, according to the Coast Guard. There was possibly a fire and two pilots on board. Both pilots got out safely, according to the coast guard.
The helicopter was on its side. The MH-65 Dolphin helicopter’s pilot was hovering about 10 feet over a tarmac at the Coast Guard Air Station on the north side of SFO and attempting to land when it crashed at 2:55 p.m., Coast Guard officials said.
There were no immediate reports of injuries to crew members. But an airport spokesman said the two people inside suffered minor injuries.
