Spate of air mishaps rattles Kremlin military planners

Russia's Defense Ministry reports that a Russian military transport plane has crashed on a flight from Omsk to Moscow after both engines failed. No casualties were reported.
The crash follows the July 14 crash of the Russian strategic bomber Tu-95 in Russia's Far East - the 6th air disaster in recent months. A MiG-29 fighter jet crashed in Russia's Voronezh region at the start of June and SU-34 bomber recently dropped from the sky in Russia's Far East.
