Air Force 757 makes emergency landing in Des Moines

A U.S. Air Force 757 requested an emergency landing in Des Moines after the windshield on the aircraft broke in-flight.

The distress call came in just after 9 a.m. Friday. The plane was able to land safely by 9:30 a.m. at the Des Moines International Airport.

Nine people were aboard the unmarked plane. No one was injured in the incident.

Fire crews could be seen boarding the plane shortly after it landed.
