Coast Guard in-flight emergency Kona International Airport

According to Coast Guard officials, a C-130H was transporting equipment from Barbers Point on Oahu to Hawaii Island when the crew declared an in-flight emergency due to hydraulic failure.
The plane landed safely at Kona International Airport at 11 a.m. No one was hurt and there was no damage to the aircraft.
However, with loss of hydraulics, crews could not move the aircraft without assistance, so the plane sat on the runway for nearly two hours, causing some flights to be delayed.
The state says C-130s don't normally land in Kona, which is why the equipment to move it was not readily available.
