No injuries were reported after a Black Hawk helicopter made an emergency landing Wednesday night south of Junction City, officials with the Army base announced.
The incident was reported around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday when a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter made what Fort Riley officials said was “a precautionary landing” in a field about miles south of Fort Riley.
None of the four crew members was injured.
The Black Hawk crew was from the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division and was on a training mission at the time of the landing, officials said.
The incident is under investigation.
