A man who reportedly crashed into the entrance of the north gate at Peterson Air Force Base Sunday has been identified.
Colorado Springs police say Eric D. Morgan, 47 of Colorado Springs, was not connected with the base or any of its operations.
He was not wearing a seat belt, according to police. No one else was in the vehicle.
It is unclear why he crashed into the gate.

One person was killed Sunday morning in an accident at the north gate of Peterson Air Force Base.
