Fort Detrick says goodbye to Fire Captain Jeff Miller

Jeffery Miller is closing out a long and successful 21-year career with the Department of the Army Civilian Fire and Emergency Services at Fort Detrick and Forest Glen, Maryland. During his time of service, Miller has risen through the ranks from firefighter, driver operator, fire inspector, and finally as a supervisory firefighter at the rank of Captain

KFOR conducts quarterly pre-accident plan rehearsal

Shipyard Family Legacy: A Tribal Chief, Firefighters, and Riggers

One of these family legacies is still being carried on by Nuclear Quality Division’s (Code 2350) Nuclear Quality Support Specialist Catherine Hobbs; her brother, Rigging and Equipment Operation’s (Code 740) Apprentice Noah Coburn; and her cousin, Code 740’s Refueling Continuous Training and Development (CTD) instructor Charles Campbell.

Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fire & Emergency Services: Firefighters Promoted to Captain in Ceremony
Story by Jason Scarborough February 03, 2021 at 03:34PM Five new captains assigned to Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) and Naval Weapons Station Yorktown, Fire District 2, were pinned in a ceremony at NNSY’s Trophy Park, Feb. 1. The five officers are part of a class of 25 Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fire & Emergency Services Firefighters who were promoted to Captain. Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fire & Emergency Services is the Department of Defense (DoD) fire department that supports Navy operations on the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast coasts of the United States.
