Kilpatrick was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Maryland. He served for five years at NAVFAC Southeast in Jacksonville, Fl., before returning home to the National Capital Region last summer.

Engineers Week Spotlight: David Rudloff is Making an Immediate Impact to the NSF Dahlgren Team


February 23, 2021 at 04:02PM Matthew Stinson WASHINGTON - David Rudloff, mechanical engineer, is representing Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Washington for Engineers Week. He serves in the Public Works Department at Naval Support Activity South Potomac, Naval Support Facility Dahlgren. Rudloff has only been aboard for a few months but has already provided great benefit for the team at Dahlgren. He is involved with several renovation projects. He also possesses a license and experience in fire protection engineering and thus has his hands in several fire protection projects as well.

Mutual aid agreement between RIA, Quad Cites helps save lives during fires, other emergencies

Rock Island Arsenal’s firefighters started the day conducting daily maintenance on fire house vehicles and equipment Feb. 11. The paramedic team practiced loading and unloading procedures in the ambulance. Firefighters conducted primary maintenance checks and services on firetrucks and checked hoses and gear for proper functioning. This is all a part of daily procedures, which ensure that the equipment is ready, when the team is called upon.
