Caitlin Wilkins September 10, 2021 at 02:38PM Soldiers and Families participated in a 9/11 remembrance run September 10, 2021, that honored the thousands of civilians, police officers, firefighters, medical personnel, and members of the military that gave their lives at the World Trade Center, at Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and the Pentagon as well as the memory of the Dogface Soldiers killed in the subsequent war on terrorism. This year marked the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks.

Royal Air Force Firefighter completes 533.5 mile challenge for charity
Story by Spc. Jameson Harris September 09, 2021 at 02:43AM Royal Air Force Flight Sgt. Brown finished his 533.5 mile run challenge on Aug. 30, 2021 in MK Air Base, Romania. The challenge was dedicated to Kidscape, a London-based charity focused on child safety. The miles collectively took over 123 days to complete. U.S. Army firefighters and fellow RAF service members joined Brown on his final triumphant run.

Nebraska, Czech Republic firefighters strengthen partnership
Story by Airman 1st Class Alexander Schriner September 03, 2021 at 01:59PM Fourteen firefighters from the Army of the Czech Republic fire department trained alongside the U.S. counterparts with the 155th Air Refueling Wing fire department Aug. 16-19, 2021, at Lincoln Air Force Base and Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. The State Partnership between Nebraska and Czech Republic provides the opportunity for the exchange of different ideas, training methods and strengthening of international ties.
