Medical Airmen crew ambulance, keep mission ready


Story by Ronald Bradshaw July 12, 2022 at 11:32AM HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah – Airmen with the 75th Medical Group here are staying mission ready by crewing Hill AFB’s ambulance service alongside firefighters from the 775th Civil Engineer Squadron’s Fire and Emergency Services Flight. While on ambulance duty, medics from the group serve a month working 72-hour shifts eating, sleeping, training and responding with Hill F&ES paramedics.

Partnership Forged in Fire


Story by Aaliyah Essex June 30, 2022 at 08:12AM NAPLES, Italy - U.S. Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples’ Fire and Emergency Services (FES), Security department, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR), and Public Works joined Italian fire professionals to fight local fires in the Pozzuoli area of Italy that began on Monday, June 27. The fires began in the hills of Pozzuoli around 1:00 a.m. and spread around the area. By 6:00 p.m., multiple fires had spread to the perimeter of Carney Park. In response, NSA Naples halted public access to Carney Park and deployed a force of U.S. Navy military, federal and local national firefighters to the facilities to monitor the approaching blaze.

Multi-capable 378th ECES firefighters

They wanted to see if their firefighters attending a National Registry Emergency Medical Technician program, could apply the classroom work in a chaotic situation.
