Camp Pendleton first responders ready to face any threat

Angela Wilcox December 12, 2022 at 07:46PM When disaster strikes, MCB Camp Pendleton's Fire Department, Provost Marshal's Office (PMO), and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) section assemble a team of first responders with a single mission: safeguard all base personnel, property, and the surrounding environment. On Dec. 6, 2022, this contingency response force exercised a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) training event to strengthen performance further, shorten response times, and enhance teamwork and communication capabilities.

Garrison command team takes on fire

In a condensed firefighting course, Col. Sean Brown, garrison commander, learned the basics of what a Fort Carson Firefighter does on a day-to-day basis.
