The Harlem Globetrotters Euro Step Over to NSA Naples


Story by Aaliyah Essex March 17, 2023 at 09:31AM NAPLES, Italy--Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples’ families and community members enjoyed a night of fun onboard Support Site Thursday, March 16, 2023. Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) set the alley-oop with NSA Naples’ Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) for a slam dunk event as The Harlem Globetrotters took to the court at Naples Middle High School (NMHS). MWR capitalized on assists to make this event a success. “MWR was supported by NSA Naples’ Red Cross, USO, the Fire Department, Security and community volunteers,” said Chris Kasparek, NSA Naples MWR Community Recreation Director.

Empowering Achievements and Army Service: Women’s History Month at the 2023 USA Powerlifting Military, Police, and Fire Fighters National Championships

MEGAN GEPHART March 14, 2023 at 06:00PM KILLEEN, Texas – The Fort Hood Powerlifting Team took home the title of the National Team Champions as 92 current and retired service members from around the world participated in the 2023 USA Powerlifting Military, Police, and Fire Fighters National Championships on March 11, 2023. Holding special significance during Women’s History Month, this contest had more female military lifters than any other competition in the event’s history.

Wesley McCall, and Naval Air Station Whiting Field recently congratulated the winners of the 2022 Fire and Emergency Services award competition. In addition to naming the region firefighter and fire officer of the year, the admiral recognized Gulf Coast Fire and Emergency Services, consolidated NAS Pensacola and NAS Whiting Field, as Fire Department of the Year, Large Category.
