GAFB hosts annual Fallen Firefighter Memorial

The memorial included the firefighters’ prayer, lowering of the flags to half-staff, and the firefighters’ final call.

NAVFAC Southeast’s Olympic-Themed ‘Bring Your Kids to Work Day’ Sparks Excitement
NAVFAC Southeast recently hosted a dynamic "Bring Your Kids to Work Day" event on June 14, centered around an Olympic theme to foster teamwork and excellence among participants. Coordinated by Meghan Johns, the event welcomed over ninety children for educational sessions on topics like environmental science, technology, and fire protection. Activities included tours of a P-8A Poseidon aircraft and active construction sites, culminating in a spirited relay race and medal ceremony. Capt. Miguel Dieguez praised the event's success, highlighting its role in strengthening community ties within NAVFAC Southeast and inspiring future leaders and innovators.
